Stephanie specialises in mergers and acquisitions and joint venture structuring with a particular focus on the energy and resources sector. This work includes providing commercial and regulatory advice on complex projects and contract negotiation.
Stephanie's energy & resources experience includes acting for publicly listed and private resource companies in joint ventures in Australia, South America and South-East Asia.
Recent projects include acting in respect of an international minerals project acquisition in the Republic of Peru, acting for a public listed resource company in its acquisition of a coal asset in South Africa, and acting for a multinational group regarding the provision of services for the Olympic Dam Expansion in South Australia.
Stephanie also has significant experience in intellectual property work including preparing and negotiating transactional documents for major projects, and advising on the commercialisation of intellectual property. Her intellectual property experience also includes advising on the ownership and protection of intellectual property rights and the development of brand protection strategies for Australian and multinational companies.
Stephanie is currently a member of the State Committee for The Resource and Energy Law Association (AMPLA) in Western Australia.
