Mr Andrew Richards is a geologist with 28 years experience in the mining industry, 7 years of which involved a senior role in Project Finance within a banking environment. Prior to 1996 he worked in a wide variety of areas and commodities, in both mine production and exploration, including as chief geologist of the New Celebration and Telfer gold mines in Western Australia with large drill out programs and resource upgrades.

Subsequent work included technical reviews and due diligence of projects in Australia, Asia, Chile, North America and Europe for project and corporate financing; monitoring of project construction and performance; cash flow modeling for valuation, financing and hedging and liaison/advisory services to bankers, project sponsors, receivers and administrators. Andrew also undertook mineral asset valuations and independent expert reports for Snowden Mining Consultants, an international consulting group.

Since 2004 Andrew provided consultancy services in project assessment and acquisition, management and financing for numerous resource companies and was General Manager of the relisted Preston Resources Limited as well as Managing Director of several unlisted companies. Andrew has been working in China for over 3 years.
